How to Pay BIR Registration Fee Through GCash or Paymaya

If you are new to freelancing and have registered as a self-employed individual to BIR, you may need to pay some initial fees. This can be done easily using e-wallets like GCash and Paymaya.

Here's how.

Paying BIR Registration Fee through Gcash

  1. Log in to your Gcash account.
  2. Tap Pay Bills. Then, tap the Government icon.
  3. Look for BIR in the list of billers.
  4. Fill out all the fields.
  5. Details must be as follows if you are paying for the ₱500.00 Registration fee and ₱30.00 Documentary Stamp Tax (DST)
*Return period is the end year when you registered. 
*Branch code must be "00000" - I am not sure if this is for my specific RDO only. Please verify with your RDO.
*Form series and Form Number should be 0600 and 0605 respectively.

Paying BIR Registration Fee through Paymaya

  1. Log in to your Paymaya account.
  2. Tap Pay Bills. Then, tap the Government icon.
  3. Look for BIR in the list of billers.
  4. Note the BIR TIN and branch code reminders and instructions. Follow accordingly.
  5. Fill out all the fields. All fields are required.
*RF - Registration fee
*Check the last 3 digits of your TIN number for the branch code (XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX). The first nine numbers are your actual TIN, and the last three are for your branch code. This is different from the RDO code. Please call your RDO for clarification and verification of the branch code.

Save and print your transaction receipt as you may need to give BIR a copy of this (when you process directly in the RDO) or send it to them via email (if you are registering through online processing).

For those who will process their BIR registration directly in their revenue district office (RDO), you may also need to download and fill out Form 0605.
